Welcome to Baclofen USA. We are a group of people who have experienced the agony of alcoholism, either personally or in our families and have found treatment through the use of high doses of baclofen. We have set up this organization and this site to advocate on behalf of those using baclofen for alcoholism and other addictions.
Our mission is to provide information about alcohol addiction and the medications available to help reverse this deadly disease. Alcoholism can be reversed through the use of medication. By promoting access to current information to both the patient and the medical community, alcoholism can be managed and eliminated. We support organizations and individuals who promote access to current knowledge regarding medications for alcoholism and other addictions. Additionally, we support ongoing research efforts involving cures and treatments for the addicted. We dedicate ourselves to this mission in memory of Dr. Oliver Ameisen.
We are an organization on a mission. We’re a not-for-profit with the goal of changing the way people look at alcoholism and addiction and providing free information about alcohol treatment and addiction treatment using Baclofen.
A few years ago it was inconceivable that there would ever be an alcoholism cure which worked for the vast majority of people who took it. Nor would anyone have believed that this alcoholism treatment would also be an addiction cure for drugs such as heroin and cocaine. But that is what Baclofen does, and it does it very well. The only problem is in finding out how to access medication and advice on its use.
We have access to counselors who have experience with the use of baclofen and can guide you through its use. We can help you source a supply of baclofen legally through a doctor or rehabilitation clinic or on-line if you prefer. We can find a specialist medical and legal advice for you to support you if you or your family need advice and help on issues arising out of alcoholism and treatment.
All of the site’s resources are available to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a sufferer, family member, or professional, our materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.

Raising public and professional awareness in Baclofen is an absolute necessity. It has never been more important, if not vital.
Over the last few years, there has been massively increasing interest in the use of High-Dose Baclofen, and how it might help the millions of people around the World suffering from many addictions; especially alcoholism and alcohol-related disorders.
However, much of its value remains clouded in mystery and suspicion. Indeed, there is also often frank antagonism to it. What we need is reasoned debate and proper clinical trials of High-Dose Baclofen. This site hopes to do its very best to facilitate this.
Who might benefit from this site? Simply, anybody and everybody who has an interest in the effects of excessive alcohol consumption. Groups such as:
Sufferers from alcoholism or alcohol-related disorders;
People caring for them;
Healthcare Professionals, who frequently know little or nothing about the potentially vital role that Baclofen might have to play to help those in their care;
Scientific Researchers interested in new anti-addiction drug therapies;
Law enforcement agencies and courts ;
Politicians and Government Legislators;
The Brewing Industry itself.
To beat alcoholism and other addictions is never going to be as easy as taking this simple, harmless, little pill. It is going to take insight, imagination and courage.

Thank you for perpetuating Dr. Ameisen’s memory. Today, his discovery is helping over 350,000 people in Europe alone. I too cured my alcoholism with baclofen after trying conventional methods. I now run baclofenblog.com in the hope that we, in North America may someday enjoy the same freedom in the treatment of our illness as is the case in Europe. Spread the word 🙂

Posted by jim | December 8, 2017, 2:27 pmI just finished Dr. Amneisens book, sad he is no longer here, it is an awesome book, I am taking it to my physician, to ask about this possibility as I am currently on Naltrexone, I am unsure what dosage we are allowed her in Canada, I currently have a home AA group, have tried counselling, therapy groups etc. and I am a binge drinker, it has been the worst it has ever been for me this year. What would you recommend as a starting dose ? Careyann Shiskin

I wrote an entire book about my personal experience from start to finish about my first Binge to my last and how baclofen has saved my life. It is currently an unpublished manuscript and I’m more than happy to share it with anyone who’s willing to listen/ read it, free of charge obviously. If anyone has any questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. Baclofen can save so many lives for anyone who suffers from addiction (which is a disease and NOT a choice), but the pharmaceutical industry, therapists, medical professionals, etc. would lose a lot of business if addicts knew there’s an actual cure out there— it makes me so mad!!!
